Launched at the 4th edition of the South Brazilian Biogas and Biomethane Forum, the Best of Biogas Award is an initiative of the organisers - CiBiogás, Embrapa, UCS and Sbera - which recognises the highlights of the sector in the categories Professional, Organisation and Biogas Generating Plants/Units (in the subcategories Sanitation, Industry and Livestock), taking into account, in particular, their performance in the previous year (2024). At the 7th edition of the Forum, which will take place from 8 to 10 April 2025 in Bento Gonçalves - RS, the award will have its fourth edition.
